Mr. Schafer is active in real estate and a business advisor, as well as an operating partner in a real estate investment and development partnership. In the last 40 years he has participated in the development of over $500 million of development projects as well as counseled several major family corporations with an assets valued at approximately $200 million to preserve the property assets and resolve financial and ownership conflicts.
Established the Coldwell Banker Commercial Brokerage operations in the New England Market as Vice President of Coldwell Banker Commercial Brokerage Co., in Boston, Massachusetts. Planned, leased, constructed, and financed over 800,000 square feet of high-rise office projects in downtown San Francisco, for over a $100 million profit as Managing General Partner - Lincoln Property Company. As Managing Director of Samuelson Schafer, an APP affiliate, he has successfully developed and invested in Northern California real estate since 1982. He is also a Director of Trader Vic, a global restaurant company.
