Blaine was raised in Arcadia, graduated from Arcadia High School in 1970 and is a graduate of the University of California at Davis. He has spent the last 30 years in commercial real estate development and investment. He has developed nearly 2,000,000 square feet of commercial space as well as for sale residential. Blaine is the Principal/Owner in Samuelson and Fetter LLC and Boone Fetter LLC both development and management companies. His firm has made the Los Angeles Business Journal’s top 25 developers list every year since the original inception of the Journal’s prestigious and exclusive list program. He was one of the original four founders of the San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership and has served as Chairman of the Board for two terms in 1993 and 2003. He currently serves as a Chairman of the Boy’s and Girls Club of the Foothills and is an overseer of The Huntington Library. Past executive and board activities have included sitting on the Executive Board of the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation and being President of both the LA Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks and the Monrovia Resources Development.
